課程介紹:: This course provides up-to-date accounting and computer knowledge for those seeking employment in accounting or commercial firms or government departments. It would also be suitable for the accounting staff in a small business or potential/existing small business operators. The course also provides a pathway to university with the potential for credits given for units completed. The course provides accounting, computing and related skills in the areas of preparing tax returns, BAS preparation, business law, reporting on business performance, developing budgets and maintaining internal control systems.

錄取要求:: Applicants must have satisfactorily passed year 12 (VCE or equivalent), or have sufficient work experience, or be mature age applicant.

教學地點介紹:: This college is called South West Institute of Technical and Further Education (TAFE). They invite students to study with them in their beautiful and peaceful corner of the State of Victoria, Australia. It has provided courses to international students for over ten years. All the courses they offer to international students are registered and approved by the Australian government. They specialise in high quality vocational education and training which prepares their graduates for employment, business and further study. Experienced staff with both professional and teaching qualifications, teach all their courses. Most courses open pathways to university programs, and several of these courses have arrangements in place to allow direct transfer from TAFE to university. At this TAFE students can study a course that will set them on the path to a rewarding career. Students will also experience a learning adventure of a lifetime.

住宿信息:: This TAFE does not have any student accommodation available on campus, however is happy to assist with accommodation options, including renting a house, flat, apartment or boarding with an Australian family. Renting costs start at approximately A$140 per week plus expenses such as electricity and gas. Boarding costs can vary between A$60 to A$180 per week depending on the services provided by the family.

Courses include agriculture, arts, automotive, building, business, child studies, conservation, Electrotechnology, engineering, general education, horticulture, hospitality, laboratory skills, liberal arts, massage, multimedia, music, nursing, plumbing, sport, tourism and welfare studies. In addition to their On Campus courses, they also offer a wide range of Off Campus programs, as well as a range of Short Courses. The campus boasts state-of-the-art facilities including Endeavors training restaurant and a fully equipped gymnasium. This campus is also home to Meat Training Australia (MTA), delivering specialist training in meat retailing and meat processing. The building redevelopment project is now in its final stage and on completion will see the Department of Arts relocated back from the current Fletcher Jones site. Whether students want to develop existing skills and knowledge to support them in career advancement, or if they want to obtain new skills, this TAFE has a variety of Courses designed to support them to achieve their goals.

Courses include Business, Information Technology, Multimedia, Maritime, General Education and both beginner and advanced levels of Engineering related courses. In addition to their On-Campus courses, they also offer a wide range of Off Campus programs, as well as a range of Short Courses. From the Engineering department to the Computer Classrooms, equipment and software is frequently updated to ensure that this TAFE students develop their knowledge and skills using the latest methods and the most up to date technology available. The atmosphere at the Campus is both friendly and inviting. The Teaching and administration staff are easily accessible and are always willing to provide the support and guidance needed to ensure each student gets the most from their studies.
