Sports Therapy is growing in popularity and one of the most rewarding professions in the field of health, fitness and wellbeing. It opens up a range of dynamic and exciting career opportunities and post graduate educational pathways. Sports Therapists assess, treat and prevent disorders in human movement caused by injury. They also assist the athlete to perform at their peak. Sports therapists are professional healthcare practitioners who work in private practice, with sporting clubs, in sports medicine clinics and fitness centres, and with athletic clubs and teams. They provide treatment and rehabilitation, improvement of performance, increase mobility and fitness as well as injury prevention. They select, modify and re-evaluate their approaches to treatment on an ongoing basis according to the needs of the athlete. Nationally Accredited three-year program in Sports Therapy will give the students all the academic, theoretical, clinical and personal skills they need to become a qualified professional Sports Therapist.

For admission to Advanced Diploma of Sports Therapy or Advanced Diploma of Remedial Massage (Myotherapy) the students will need to complete Year 12 or equivalent including English and one science preferably Biology, Health and Human Development or Physical Education.
